Familiehotel „Beim Simmerl" is situated sunny and quietly, directly on the edge of the forest with a fantastic view to the valley of the Donau and the front part of the Bavarian Wood.
A big playground and our play barn directly in front of the hotel offer the children a safe place to play.
Numeroud walkways starting directly from the hotel are ideal for walking tours, jogging or Nordic Wlaking.

In our floor kitchen you will find a washing machine and a dryer (coin-machine), here you can get rid of the "stain monsters".

A visit to the restaurant – without stress
that is possible with us. In our new restaurant with a big so-called "mice paradise" for kids younger than 4 years old, the parants can enjoy a dinner without stess, whille the children can play.
In the basement we have a playroom to have fun with a ball bath and a slide - open all day!

In the winter
we prepare our cross country skiing tracks and the nearest ski lift (with snow makers) is not far away either (ca. 500m).
Sledges can be used for free - because the toboggan run is directly behind our hotel!
Do you prefer a romantic winter holiday, you can book a horse sleigh ride (€ 40,-/sleigh) and make a ride through the snowy woods.
Snowflakes are usuallyfalling from December to March here.
Two ski lifts (with snow makers) in the direct neighbourhood, ski rental and ski schools are available in Sankt Englmar at only 3 km.

The village Sant Englmar at a distance of only 3 km has a nice centre with small shops, a cure park with old mill and a children's farm, easy walkways ( suitable for baby carriages as well), many playthings and a natural swimming pond. Nice benches invite you to just sit back and relax.
