Since 1.1.2006 we also belong to the excellent hotels of FAMILOTEL and we are very happy with it and we are proud of it as well.

Already since the opening of our hotel 10 years ago, families with children belong to our established and most favorite guests. By the spatial separation of the restaurant and parts of the buidling and the spacious hotel complex (10.000 m² ) every bodyfinds what he is looking for here: peace & relaxation but action and advanture as well.

The family apartments and double room combinations offer the best conditions for a relaxed holiday, free of stress.

The rooms on the ground floor can be reached comfortably with prams and buggies, maar they are also perfect for grandpa and grandma, who may join you or when they are on a trip with their grandchildren without you some day!

The Rookhus is situated directly on the banks of the Great Labus Lake, in the woods of theNational park Müritz – in the centre of the small lake plateau of Mecklenburg. Almost all of the over 1000 lakes of the area are, like ours, connected to the Havel. So through the hotel quay you can go out into the open..

The unspoilt natureoffers the largest and most interesting "playground" for young and old. Here you still find plants and animals which even your parents know from books only.

The romantic village Wesenberg with less traffic invites you to saunter and loaf about the streets. A bif adventure playground underneath the historical castle, a museum with tin toys and the small harbour offer many opportunities enjoy yourself.
