Directly on the piste = D
Simply go - from your bed to the piste. This is the dream of any passionate skier and it is a wish that can be fulfilled in some of the Familotels. These hotels are marked with a “D”.
In ski regions for experts and those who are still learning = I
Are you looking for a ski region with a variety of difficulty levels and options, from easy to difficult. The pistes and lifts are not always directly by the hotel, but they are easy to reach. On foot, using the ski bus service or shuttle bus from the hotel. You can find more information on the hotel websites. Marked with an “I”.
Family ski regions with low mountain ranges = F
Your demands are more to do with winter fun and snow, than sporting challenges on the piste. Do you want to give your children the opportunity to sledge and take part in a children’s ski course? Then you’ve come to the right place here. These Familotels are marked with an “F”.
Preschooler ski schools directly at the hotel = K
Children under 6 struggle with their first forays into the snow. At the preschooler ski schools directly at your hotel, even the smallest can experience exercises on skis from the age of 2. Your children will find care, safety, a magic carpet ski lift and a colourful winter wonderland here. The Familotels can be recognised by the letter “K”.
Snow guarantee - near to a glacier = S
A real snow guarantee is virtually impossible now. But ski companies normally operate from Oct. to May in the glacier ski regions. For this reason, we have highlighted hotels that are located near a glacier ski region. They should be no more than 25 - 30 km away. Marked with an “S”.
