Junior partners Florian and Kristina Diezinger anticipate the every wish of the little guests of the Fichtelgebirge children's hotel and have four children themselves.
Here the kids are immediately in their element — and go straight on a tour of discovery with the Diezingers' children. On the spacious terrain of the owner-managed hotel, things are simply more fun when done together. In the childcare service, great emphasis is placed on exercise and nature adventures, with many exciting trips on the agenda every week.

Elke Diezinger offers her little and big guests a particular highlight when the warm spring and summer months begin. Then, the trained herb pedagogue invites guests on her popular herb tours, on which there are a lot of interesting things to learn about the local, edible wild herbs of the region. Again and again, guests are surprised to see what delicacies can be prepared with the freshly gathered herbs. For example fresh smoothies, hearty salads, tasty stinging nettle spinach and much more.
One can look over Elke Diezinger's shoulder as flowers and leaves are used to prepare healthy herbed oils and herb-flavoured vinegar as well as the finest liquors, which can of course also be tasted or purchased as a souvenir. The selection of homemade products for sale is colourful, healthy and varied.
Anyone who returns to the Familotel Krug after a day full of adventure can look forward to living and sleeping comfort that meets even the highest standards. The modern, 35 m2 family rooms and spacious suites of up to 75 m2 in size leave hardly any desires unfulfilled in terms of furnishing either. And even apartments with two separate child rooms are no problem at all.
Good to know: Little princes and princesses are also fully catered for at the Familotel Fichtelgebirge. A family holiday at Familotel Krug always includes culinary delights. For his cuisine, senior partner Jürgen Diezinger focuses on fresh, seasonal products of excellent quality; in the process, the use of flavour enhancers, preservatives and ready products is consciously avoided. And guests can taste this at any time. The tasty jams and jellies provide a most pleasantly sweet start to the day.
For they are — like many other delicacies of the substantial breakfast buffet — homemade, naturally. With ample experience and skill, the delicious bread is baked and the fresh cheese made by the boss himself. Allergy sufferers and guests with lactose and gluten intolerance also gain full value for their money. The cuisine of Familotel Krug, with a special range of dishes, is of course accordingly prepared.
Best of all, though, is that with the all-inclusive premium package, the breakfast buffet offered, lunch and the evening meal are included in the price, in addition to homemade cake, snacks, alcoholic drinks such as beer, wine and schnapps - cocktails excepted - as well as nibbles in the evening. Naturally, all non-alcoholic drinks and coffee specialities (from the dispensing equipment) are also free of charge from 7:30am to 11:00pm.
