No wonder: there is much to discover at Familotel Landhaus Averbeck – and one could miss something, after all. But it does not come to that, for first of all, of course, the many animals of the holiday farm are looked at. The cats and dogs immediately want to be stroked by the "newcomers", while the eyes of the rabbits seem to ask longingly "Do you have any carrots?". Oh yes, there is a pot-bellied pig as well. And the chickens are about to hide the breakfast eggs for the next morning.
The relaxed atmosphere of the Landhaus Averbeck Hassel is simply contagious – and the adults have long since found their cosy, favourite little spot in the large farm garden. After all, the children are excellently catered for. In the childcare service, the kids cook and make things like there's no tomorrow – and go on exciting excursions in the forest next to the hotel. There is also a large play park with a slide, a climbing frame and other things. On the other hand, anyone who would like to gain their first experience riding a horse or undertake an advanced course will find loyal companions in the ponies and horses of the farm. Even when the weather is rubbish, boredom never arises. Then it's off to the "Landlümmels", a 250 m2 indoor play area for romping around, monkey bar swinging, sliding and skipping. Tremendous fun!

Why go far afield…? Simply put, because the Familotel Landhaus Averbeck is located so centrally that sports activities and day trips should definitely be part of the holiday plan. With its old villages, lush meadows and forests, the picturesque heath landscape is perfect for being explored on foot, by bike, in Nordic walking or by horse carriage. And art and culture do not get a raw deal either. For example, one can visit the residence town of Celle, with its oldest closed timber framework ensemble. The biggest thing for the little ones: a visit to the nearby Walsrode Bird Park or the Heide Park Resort in Soltau.

Guests can also relax and recuperate in the wellness area, which has its own swimming pool. Here, one can leave all ones cares behind - and gain new strength - in the Finnish sauna or the organic steam sauna. Those who need to cool off afterwards can do so in the new, 5 x 8-metre swimming pool. And with the separate quiet room, the necessary relaxation is excellently catered for.
On the other hand, if one wants to really "let off steam", one can do this under the qualified direction of trainer Jessica Hubach. Pilates and autogenous training as well as aqua fitness and Nordic walking are on the agenda. Particularly fun for both big and small is the Zumba dance training, in which circulation is galvanised to current pop hits and Latin American rhythms.
The wellness and fitness programme of Familotel Landhaus Averbeck is completed by soothing hot stone massages or cosmetic treatments professionally performed by state-certified cosmetician and pedicurist Birgit Ahrens.

With an overnight stay at the Landhaus Averbeck Bergen, hardly any desire goes unfulfilled. The guests have the choice as to whether they stay in the tradition-steeped farmhouse or in the new building finished in 2012. Individually tailored, lovely furnishings are found everywhere here.

And at lunchtime and in the afternoon, too, typical regional dishes such as homemade hotpots and fresh pickled herring, as well as home-baked cake, cater for the physical wellbeing of the guests. In the evening, a varied buffet ensures the perfect end to a perfect day.
Even people who are diabetic and vegetarians need not forego anything at Familotel Landhaus Averbeck. Naturally, the hotel's delicious vital cuisine also includes reduction diet as well as dietary and vegetarian dishes. And after dinner, adults can enjoy a freshly drawn beer or a glass of fine wine in peace on the hotel's outer terrace while the little ones run riot again before bed time.
