The children can let off steam on the playground there, on the giant trampoline or on their own climbing course while the parents enjoy the panorama. A fun photo safari takes you down into the valley, and once you’ve reached the bottom, a flying fox over the lake awaits the children.

  • High moor experience: with moor tower, followed by fishing in the fish pond, lunch with trout caught by you.

  • Farm tour with witch playground: The most popular excursion with the very young: a short, flat hike, playing on the witch’s playground and pony rides and horse-drawn carriage rides are on the programme here.

Excursion tips for your family holiday in Tyrol

The family hotel in Tyrol is the best tip for a child and family-friendly holiday. The best tips on what to do around the hotels in Pitztal can be found here. After all, Pitztal in Tyrol has so much to offer that makes a family holiday in Tyrol even more worth experiencing.

Tip 1: Area 47.

Europe’s largest adventure playground is just 20 minutes away from Imst. There are adventure, sports and entertainment offers that are unique in the Alpine region over 66,000 sqm. Nature and high-tech have been combined here to create an extraordinary leisure experience for all ages. This promises pure action and adrenaline. Whether it’s outdoor adventures, the event arena or water fun, no wishes remain unfulfilled here!

Tip 2: Alpenzoo Innsbruck.

Europe’s highest zoo (750 metres) is located above the rooftops of Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol. On just over 4 hectares, you can experience around 2,000 alpine animals here in enclosures, terrariums and aquariums designed to resemble conditions in the wild. No other zoo in the world shows so many wild animals from the Alpine region.

Tip 3: Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens.

Simply brilliant. Visit, for example, the Crystal Dome – a three-dimensional interactive museum with crystals as well as light and sound architecture by the internationally renowned media artist and singer André Heller. Immerse yourself in an imaginative world of art and experience moments of wonder. The special highlight for families: the play tower. A separate building where both adults and children can store their belongings, put on play socks and then throw themselves into an adventure. Warning: mum and dad also become kids again here. Jumping and sliding like you’ve never seen before!

All information about these and many other offers is available from reception at Hotel Sailer and Hotel Stefan.
