The Habachklause family hotel is situated in the Wildkogel Arena, at the entrance to the Habachtal valley. Boredom is unheard of here as the number of activities is endless. Among other things, you can go on long walks and hikes, cycle, play mini golf, go in search of minerals, visit a climbing park and toboggan, ski and snowboard to your heart’s content in the winter with your children. You can borrow back carriers, buggies and bikes at the hotel.

The Habachtal valley is one of the most beautiful places in Austria. Many exciting day trip destinations await you here. For example, visit the famous Krimml Waterfalls, the Wildkogel cable car, Museum Bramberg, the Hollersbach swimming lake with large play and adventure park and the national park worlds in Mittersill.

The Wildkogel activity programme provides a wealth of variety, for example with different hikes, Nordic walking, demonstration bread baking, emerald mining, yoga and yodelling.

You can test the first alpine roller coaster, the “Maisiflitzer”, in Kaprun in the Salzburger Land or take an impressive panoramic nostalgic boat trip on Lake Zell.

Babies aged between 0 and 1.5 years are comprehensively taken care of every day in the Babyclub-Lounge. Everything is provided in the 120 sqm baby’s paradise: a slide, play tower, various toys and a cosy corner make every baby happy. A changing table, rocker, buggy, bottle warmer and all the other necessary utensils are also available. 

The apartments and family rooms are suitably equipped for small children. Children of all ages are welcome in the restaurant at any time and can be present at all mealtimes thanks to high chairs, rockers, children’s cutlery and fresh bibs. A HIPP baby menu has been developed totally exclusively that is tailored totally to babies’ needs.

Children aged 2.5 and above can attend the hotel’s own children’s club, which leaves nothing to be desired. From the huge Fun & Action Park with indoor soft play facility to the play tower, doll’s kitchen, work bench, table tennis and children’s disco to the arts and crafts corner and lots of puzzles and games – your children’s eyes will light up! The Smiley, Kogel Mogel and Kogel Mia mascots look forward to enjoy a fun time with your children.

Cooking and magic tricks are part of the children’s programme. Children can complete their seahorse and penguin swimming badges at the hotel’s own swimming school. The little ones quickly get used to the cold water with baby and children’s swimming.

There’s also a great deal to explore outdoors. Wonderful sandcastles can be built in the covered mega sand pit and there are slides, swings and a climbing ramp in the playground on the edge of the forest. A trampoline, football pitch, table football, tractors and bobby cars promise a whole load of fun and enjoyment for all children. Free pony riding is popular three times a week. Cows, calves, chickens, horses, goats, rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, ducks, Blacky the sheep and Martin the gander impatiently await your visit and food at the°petting zoo and on the mini farm.

By the way: the Habachklause runs its own farm and butcher’s and has the first educational farm in Austria. The farm even has its own source of drinking water. The teeny club is active in the summer holiday and offers children aged 8 and above an extensive programme with cinema evenings, cooking and cocktail courses, outings together etc.

Several toddlers’ ski courses take place for children aged up to 5 right in front of the Habachklause family hotel. Professional ski instructors and the Smiley mascot teach your children how to ski in no time at all. Older children and adults attend ski lessons up the mountain.

The ski and toboggan slope in front of the hotel is covered in artificial snow and invites you on thrilling toboggan and sledging rides. Not far away three large ski resorts (Kitzbühel, Zillertal and Wildkogel-Arena) and the world’s longest, floodlit toboggan run await you.

Besides skiing, you can also go cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and snowboarding in the Salzburger Land.

Board

You are offered an all-inclusive gourmet experience at the Baby- und Kinderhotel Habachklause.

Start the day with a delicious breakfast from the large buffet. The highlights include walnut and strawberry cream honey, cold meat specialities from the hotel’s own butcher’s, Gugelhupf cake and biscuits from the Habachklause bakery and many more home-made treats.

At lunchtime a snack buffet with soup, warm main dishes, various side dishes and salads await you before you can enjoy coffee and cake and the afternoon snack in the afternoon.

For dinner you have the choice between a 4-course menu with fish, meat and vegetarian dishes and can try many regional delicacies. A themed evening is held twice a week with lots of culinary surprises.

There is an extra lunch and evening buffet with juice bar and ice cream time provided for children at the children’s club. Fresh fruits from the fruit basket, salads and vegetables, pasta, pizza and light meat dishes but also cakes, biscuits and snacks taste delicious to all children.

Various jars, baby food and formula milk are available especially for babies. The specially created baby menu offers a large selection of products to suit all tastes.
