The Hotel’s Own Activity Programme – Varied and Unusual
On the 700-square-metre indoor play space and the 60,000-square-metre outdoor play space, you and your children will never stop being astonished.
Inside, there is an extensive wellness offer for kids and adults just waiting for you. From numerous saunas to indoor swimming pool, massages and cosmetics applications, right up to the fitness and gymnastics spaces with many sports courses and high-quality equipment – you will feel completely comfortable and relaxed.
A particular highlight: The hotel’s own thermal baths with indoor and outdoor pools, current channel, bubble loungers and massage jets.
For children, there is a programme of diverse things to do. The fun doesn't stop with children’s shows, dance workshops, drawing and doing crafts, and even in the disco and in “Smileyplexx”, the hotel's own cinema where child fashion shows and theatre pieces take place, you are guaranteed not to be bored.
In the child paddling pool you can romp around and play wonderfully, and the child-friendly thermal baths also provide a lot of fun and variety. In Fred’s Swim Academy, there are special swim courses available.
In Babyparadies (0 to 2 years), Kinderclub (2 to7 years), Kiddyclub (7 to11 years) and Teenyclub (from 11 years), caring counsellors look after the well-being of your children. There are various toys available for the little ones while the teens can have some exciting times with darts, billiards and table football.
Even outdoors, no wishes go unfulfilled. Look forward to the natural lake together with your children, with its massive water chute, climbing and bouldering tower, water and adventure playground, inline skating rink, petting zoo, 18-hole minigolf course and two sand tennis courts.
In the play arena of the Post Family Resort, all children can jump around on trampolines, play table tennis, badminton, handball, volleyball, beach volleyball and football, but also through boccia balls over the court or practice archery.
The riding school has nine trained horses. As well as the classic riding lessons, riding teaching lessons are also offered, Rides and tours are also possible.
Around the Hotel – Active and Packed with Experiences
There’s nothing standing in the way of an active holiday in Salzburger Land. In the direct surroundings of the Post Family Resort, there are so many opportunities for fun that you simply can't get enough of adventure, fun and action.
How about wild-water rafting in the Saalach, climbing, hiking and bouldering in Salzburger Land, extended cycling tours or Nordic walking?
Several adventure parks are also waiting for your visit, you can also visit the Berchtesgaden salt mine and the Salzburg open-air museum, for example or enjoy the nature while summer tobogganing and going on a nostalgic chairlift ride.
You can also plan a day trip to Salzburg and make use of the various shopping, culture and free-time activities on offer.
Even in winter, Salzburger Land has a lot to offer. Just a few minutes away from the hotel, there are two large family skiing resorts: the Almenwelt Lofer and the Heutal ski resort. In the child-friendly ski schools, the little ones can dive directly into the winter fun with magic carpets, rope lifts and carousels. Everyone will get their money’s worth with cross-country skiing, snow book hiking, winter Nordic walking, ice-skating and tobogganing.

On your family holiday at Post – Family Resort, you don't have to deny yourself anything and can feast with pleasure. Quality and Fresh Ingredients are always top priority. Look forward to many regional specialities and varied meals which you can either enjoy with the whole family or alone when your children are sitting at the supervised childrens’ table.
In the morning and at lunch, you can serve yourself from our diverse buffet. For an afternoon snack, you can try various cakes, fruits and snacks. In good weather during summer, this is served on the terrace.
For dinner, you can expect multiple course menus with three main dishes to choose from and a tasty soup and salad buffet. Once a week there is a themed buffet with Austrian specialities.
You are also welcome to serve yourself at the large ice-cream buffet and the coffee and tea bar, as well as enjoy alcohol-free drinks from the juice bar.
A special children buffet is set up every day with surprising tasty snacks that every child will enjoy. At the HIPP baby buffet there is bottle food, various glasses and porridges, milk, cereal and baby teas. There is also a microwave and a vaporiser available.
Twice per week, there is a wine-tasting evening for parents in the hotel’s own wine house with a qualified sommelier or guest vintners.
