From joint excursions to exciting adventures and fun experiences – there’s plenty on offer for your little ones at this Familotel in South Tyrol.
While young children want to discover the world around the hotel, the teenagers want to conquer it. And this is more than possible with the varied care and play programme adapted to every age group.
The children’s club at the family hotel is a place where every child can play, let off steam, explore and laugh as much as they want. New friendships are made with other children on holiday, the children can be among themselves and experience many new things together.
In summer and during school holiday periods in winter, there is a supervised children’s table for lunch and dinner together, where childcare staff eat together with your little angels.
In the youth club at the Engel Gourmet & Spa family hotel, teens can chill out with their peers, hang out and enjoy some peace and quiet from their parents. There’s a lot on offer for older kids to use:
But of course there is also a lot to experience outside the youth club. In addition to mixing cocktails, horseback riding, playing badminton and frisbee as well as swimming, teenagers can also have a barbecue.
Any teens who prefer getting sporty have the option of hiring a mountain bike or doing a trial climbing course.
The entertainment programme for young people aged 12 to 17 offers exciting activities such as cinema visits in Bozen, climbing training in the Salewa Cube, MTB technical training, tours on the Carezza Trail, full moon hikes and disco visits. Teenagers won’t find anything to complain about here!
Nature and sports enthusiasts will find their absolute paradise at Engel Gourmet & Spa. Hiking, cycling, climbing, horse riding and skiing: everyone can do what they feel like doing here. And the most important thing is to capture the breathtaking and impressive mountain panorama of the Dolomites! Whether it’s with your camera or heart.
A network of 530 km of hiking trails awaits you in the Eggental valley. The family hotel in South Tyrol organises four guided hikes a week here and two guided family hikes, where children will also enjoy hiking. Nature lovers will be thrilled by the guided herb hikes. At the Familotel you can borrow hiking maps, backpacks, hiking poles and rain gear free of charge.
Whether you prefer a mountain bike, road bike or e-bike. Whether your thing is road bike excursions over mountain passes, downhills through forests and down mountains, sticking leisurely to asphalted routes and forest paths or powering up to the Dolomites’ summits. Cycling enthusiasts will certainly find their right discipline in the area around the family hotel. Guided bike tours can be organised on request.
The Obereggen and Carezza ski areas make winter miracles come true. In addition to snow parks and children’s slopes, there are 32 ski huts. A ski room at the hotel ensures that your ski equipment is perfectly prepared for the next day and a free transfer takes you and your family to the Obereggen ski area. Guided ski excursions are also offered there 3 times a week. But of course, in addition to fun on the slopes on skis and snowboard, there are also winter and snowshoe hikes, toboggan runs, cross-country ski trails and ski tours.
The Zyprianhof and Angerle Alm riding stables are very close to the children’s hotel in South Tyrol. Taster courses, riding excursions, riding lessons and carriage rides as well as the very special “star rides” are offered here. Familotel Engel will be happy to organise individual riding lessons on request.
The Dolomites are true heaven on earth for all climbing enthusiasts. At least alpine climbing brings climbers a little closer to heaven. In the Rosengarten and Latemar area there are many via ferratas that not only provide the ultimate feeling of freedom, but also an adrenaline rush. Guided climbing and mountain tours are offered on request for those who are not yet familiar with the area.
Climbing and trial climbing courses for the whole family are organised for beginners at the Rosengarten Alpine Centre. Anyone who is not comfortable with the extreme heights involved in climbing can try out the forest high ropes course in Obereggen.
There is plenty to discover around the family hotel in Welschnofen for explorers of all ages.
