Horse riding lessons for children and adults are offered at Castellare di Tonda in the family hotel's huge riding hall. The riding hall is the second largest in Tuscany and promises pure fun for all horse lovers.
The horses are professionally trained and their calm nature makes them particularly suitable for children and beginners. Riding lessons are conducted in western riding style. If smaller children under seven want to ride, this is possible on Pongo the pony.
The Familotel Castellare di Tonda Resort & Spa area is partly a nature reserve and so huge that it is possible to ride on the marked riding trails on the grounds.

The beautiful city of Pisa is just an hour away by car. Naturally, you have to visit the unique and world famous Leaning Tower here. This tower is 56 m high, made of white marble and has been tilted since its completion in 1372.
Tip 3: Volterra
You have reached your destination after just 40 minutes. Volterra also offers you the full range of culture. You have a breathtaking panoramic view over the whole city from the bell tower. It is part of the central Palazzo dei Priori, which is decorated with medieval frescoes. Volterra cathedral is definitely also worth a visit.
